MY REVIEW

Some of my most God-blessed moments have come from very ordinary days. Often the large things I’ve prayed for are answered in very quiet ways. Those around me are usually unaware that God has just given me an answer that is unexpected and invisible. God does work in mysterious ways and His plan is often much different than we thought it to be.

I love how this group of devotionals and testimonies shares that same type of soul-inspiring visits with the Holy Spirit. And, I love that it doesn’t take a big pronouncement or sermon to reach us, because God cares about every little thing that we experience.

The place where God has shown me the most powerful truths has been in quiet moments with Him. These times have brought me so much closer to Him and changed forevermore.

This book offers the reader many stories that are similar to mine, though they are all very different. I loved how in the beginning the authors shared little booklets with locally-shared devotionals, for free. They continue doing this, sharing the love and hope of Christ.

All royalties from this devotional book will be donated to the building fund for Oakland Community Church’s new building. Oakland’s goal is to design a biophilic building that takes advantage of the beauty of our Jefferson County location.
